Beautiful room with a view overlooking the lake, the bed was the most comfortable we have stayed on our travels around Asia. The breakfast is delicious! The guesthouse has recently opened and been refurbished in a modern way with a Balinese feel. The family are so friendly and helpful as are the staff.

The owner is the sweetest guy who will help you in any way he can. The place is amazing, best hot shower he had in Sumatra. The room is large and the beds are so comfy and the balcony is large with an amazing view. Best place we stayed in sumatra.

Amazing view from the balcony. Spacious room, balcony and bathroom. Delicious and we'll priced food options from the cottage's personal restaurant. Helpful, friendly staff. Can rent motorbikes directly from the cottage. Staff helped to sort out transportation back to Medan (do it through them. The pricing is better than online providers)

Marintan was the most welcoming host. Got there at 9am and was able to check in early at no additional cost. Location is great as the ferry drops you off very close by. All our needs were met with incredible care and attention including when I got stung by a hornet and she provided some lotion and reassurance. The food was also exceptionally good. Can't recommend this place.

    We had a lovely stay. The room was clean and spacious with amazing views to the lake. The food was delicious (the best we ate in Tuktuk) and the staff is friendly, attentive and incredibly helpful! Great value for the money!

    Beautiful stay in a Batak house with a lovely view on the lake. The beds and sheets were the most comfortable I have experienced throughout my holiday and the staff was very nice and helpful. I loved the breakfast and renting a scooter here was no problem.

    The view from my hotel room is stunning, i woke up in the morning and go straight to the balcony to enjoy my morning view. The staff is good also, help if we need something. The shower room is new and work very well. The hot water also working. There is no aircon but they provide fan. Nothing much to say but I would like to recommend those who want to stay here for vacation. Very strategic and near to the bar and restaurant.

    This is a great stay - the family is fulfilling any wish and is cooking great (e.g. try chapati guacamole) - feel more than home. There are other accommodations very close by - we felt this one is just marvelous. We got a room on the lowest level where you can directly jump into the lake. The room and bathroom are really large. There is a common area (= also restaurant) about 8 m higher. The street is another 8-10 m higher. But the family will help you to transport your luggage.

    the hosts and the whole family are amazing and made my stay just perfect! I felt not only welcomed, but had the impression they were really happy I was there. The accommodation itself is also very nice, directly at the lake, spacious room, relatively clean (for Indonesian standards) and the food was amazing! Would definitely book it again!
