The apartment is beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Unfortunately we only stayed one night but it would be perfect for longer stays as it has a fully equipped kitchen and is in a great location for exploring the area.

The house was gorgeous and very clean. Every bedroom had an own bathroom. Both bedrooms and the big kitchen were absolutely clean when we arrived. The Check-In was easy and possible at every time because of a key box at the house. The location of the house is perfect to get shortly to Portmagee or the Kerry Cliffs but also to Cahersiveen. It’s just about 8 to 10 minutes by car. Also Derrynane is just about a 30 minutes drive. The hosts were absolutely lovely people who did everything to get our stay as comfortable as possible. We would come back at every time.

We stayed the night before our skelligs trip and it was perfect. We had the downstairs family room. The beds were honestly the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in!! Nice big table for eating at. The room was spotless!

    We were really well looked after. They rang up 3 days before our stay to ask if we would like a table for Friday night, it was a Bank Holiday weekend and they would be full anyway but considered there gests who were staying very much appreciated. Food is excellent and a good portion. Good vibe. We will be staying again on our next trip. We had 3 very elderly people in our group they all enjoyed there stay there.

    We had the absolute privilege of spending a few days in Cul Cottage over Easter 2024. Ger and Derarca have created something really special here, allowing people to experience a step back in time on the edge of Ireland. Staying in a 200-year old cottage is, of course, not going to be the same as a modern holiday home...the house has its quirks and that's part of the charm! Bring plenty of fuel for the stove, get cosy and enjoy this very special place.

    Lived up to its name as a cosy cottage, very clean and exceptionally well maintained. Great location, we felt right at home during our stay. Probably the best holiday home we have stayed in over recent years.. Peter proved to be an excellent host, very helpful and responded to any questions in a timely manner. Overall an excellent holiday experience.
