An old hotel right on the shore. Small and very cozy. The ratio between quality and price is good! I really liked that breakfast was included in the price. The hotel has an excellent restaurant where we had a delicious dinner. Everything in the room was comfortable except the beds.

    We were really well looked after. They rang up 3 days before our stay to ask if we would like a table for Friday night, it was a Bank Holiday weekend and they would be full anyway but considered there gests who were staying very much appreciated. Food is excellent and a good portion. Good vibe. We will be staying again on our next trip. We had 3 very elderly people in our group they all enjoyed there stay there.

    We had the absolute privilege of spending a few days in Cul Cottage over Easter 2024. Ger and Derarca have created something really special here, allowing people to experience a step back in time on the edge of Ireland. Staying in a 200-year old cottage is, of course, not going to be the same as a modern holiday home...the house has its quirks and that's part of the charm! Bring plenty of fuel for the stove, get cosy and enjoy this very special place.

    Lived up to its name as a cosy cottage, very clean and exceptionally well maintained. Great location, we felt right at home during our stay. Probably the best holiday home we have stayed in over recent years.. Peter proved to be an excellent host, very helpful and responded to any questions in a timely manner. Overall an excellent holiday experience.
