The location was beautiful, remote and quiet. We had a lovely lounge room and a big bedroom and bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable with beautiful sheets and the towels were big and fluffy. Even though the location was remote the local shops and pubs were only 5 minutes away. We had not been expecting breakfast but the owner spoilt us with fresh fruit, cereal, croissants and toast, very much appreciated.

The lodge is gorgeous, super comfortable, and spacious. There's an ensuite in each bedroom, which was such a nice bonus to have; especially with a mixed group. We were a group of 6 and there was plenty of lounging space for everyone. The sun out the front is gorgeous in the morning! Plenty of parking space too. Facilities were perfect - everything you could want. The location is fab - so close to the village and still feels like you're immersed in nature.

    The Common Knowledge Centre is a quit and nice place to stay. The staff have a great hospitality and you can meet other people from several countries. We stayed three nights and the center is a good place as starting point for visiting the towns Lisdoonvarna, Kilfenora and Doolin. The coastal walk from Doolin to the cliffs of Moher is great! The Common Knowledge Center is eco-friendly and is sponsored by many people.

    We had a lovely 5 day stay at Kilcarragh house. Beautiful view at the garden! You can visit all of Clare from this centrally located guesthouse. Food and shops are on walking distance.

    The property is beautiful with a huge, well manicured lawn. The host is exceptionally friendly, she gave us water bottles and chocolate cakes complimentary. Highly recommend if you're looking for a cosy stay in the countryside.

    Very wholesome experience with incredibly friendly staff, whose business revolves around sustainability and community (they also do lots more than accommodation including creative workshops). Comfortable bed. Peaceful and serene location on a large 50 acre property. Delicious homemade/locally sourced breakfast of porridge, yoghurt, granola, jam and sourdough bread.

    Loved the house, was ideal for a family of 4. Has everything you need, like a home from home. Beds were so comfy. Amazing location, driving distance to so many attractions, Doolin caves, Ailwee caves, cliffs of Moher etc. Vaughans pub is just a walk away, great atmosphere and food was delicious. Would definitely like to stay again sometime. Would 100% recommend booking.

    We had a wonderful stay here. The cottage was extremely comfortable and cosy and had everything we needed. Our host, John, was delightful and gave us great recommendations for activities to suit our family. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a comfortable and peaceful base from which to explore the area.
