The bed was comfy, the room clean and quiet, the ensuite shower room with spacious and clean. The staff were welcoming and brought in a tea tray for us before breakfast which was delicious. A modernised good old fashioned bed and breakfast which are difficult to find.

    The location was perfect for the events we were attending. The staff were very friendly and always on hand to help. The food was very nice. We had an amazing breakfast, and the roast was delicious. The staff serving us were extremely friendly and helpful. Drinks were priced in line with general costs these days. Would definitely stay again as it suited us perfectly for visiting family :)

    Lisa our host could was such a lovely lady and could not have done anything more to make our stay amazing. Breakfast was beautiful and lots of options. Room was lovely and cosy. Lisa sent us pictures of the accommodation before we arrived so we knew where we were going. This was so helpful as we had trouble finding other accommodation we booked as they didn't do this for us

    Lisa is a very friendly host.Everything we asked for for breakfast was done to perfection.The setting is lovely and quiet.I would highly recommend it to anyone. Fifth time we stayed there and won't be last.

    In terms of thoughtful attention to detail, this accommodation was one of the absolute stand outs from our cycling trip, where we stayed in 10 different BnBs. Our room was also absolutely beautiful and was the only place we stayed in to have some heating on at times, some places we have been really chilly but not here :)

    We had an amazing stay at The Patriot bar. It was an absolutely perfect location for my friends hen party - the facilities completely added to the experience. Michelle and the team were so accommodating and provided a detailed list of local attractions and services that may be required to enhance the weekend. The house and rooms were in immaculate condition and very well designed. Couldn’t recommend here enough. Please open more of similar accommodation in other counties!!!!
