The house was spacious, clean and beautifuly decorated, the keepers were very helpful with a couple of issues and we had everything we needed on site. Groceries shop was a short walk away and really lovely local pub nearby. They also were able to accommodate a slightly earlier checking which was helpful after a very early flight! It was lovely to stay in such a lovely location with friends and I look forward to coming back and would recommend the place for any group looking to stay in the area

    I was attending a wedding at Millhouse. Donal’s property is a 15min walk to the venue. If you are not staying at the venue, 10/15 min walk is the closest accommodation. Donal’s house is a 3 min walk from the beautiful village of Slane which has a large supermarket, butchers, coffee shop, bars, restaurants etc all within walking distance. Ideal location

    Amazing stay at forest hills lodge! We enjoyed the stay and found the lodge very clean and comfortable. We were taken in and made to feel very welcome and part of the lodge. The owner is very welcoming and couldn't do anymore for us. He sources the freshest ingredients including fresh pastries from the local bakery. Lovely breakfast included. We got to meet and play with their adorable doggy too! Great value for excellent accommodation. Would definitely recommend staying in forest hills lodge.

    Very comfortable rooms on a Farm near Slane. I'm sorry we haven't spent more time there as it would have been a pleasure. We've used the accommodation as a last stop on our Ireland road trip before leaving for airport next morning. If you're booking this apartment, it's worth staying a while too! Would gladly come again.

    Lovely place to stay. Very comfortable and clean. Extra touches were appreciated, like breakfast and Sandra was available if we needed anything 😊, she very kindly dropped us to Tankardstown House. Would highly recommend. It's very close to Tankardstown house (we were attending a wedding) lovely accommodation, very quiet and peaceful.
