For those who want to walk in the Wicklow Mountains or do the Miners Walk at Glendalough, the Upper and Lower Lake: Hacketstown is a beautiful starting point. By car you are in your walking area within half an hour. By train from Carlow an hour to the heart of Dublin. The apartment above the Corner's Pub is approx. 100 m2, practical and well furnished for 2 to 4 people. The owners are the same owners of the pub downstairs, where you can also enjoy a nice meal. Everything around the same square: a supermarket, a takeaway, a pharmacy and a doctor's office. Highly recommended. We were completely happy with this apartment.

Beautiful view, cozy and serene. Anything you might need to stay comfortable and more. Spotless, tidy and warm.The friendly cows were a huge bonus. Absolute gem! Planning our next stay here already.
