The homestay was wonderful. The room was very comfortable and clean with a nice hot shower. The brothers who run the homestay are very friendly and helpful. Also, you should try the Kerala breakfast, it was delicious and the portion was extremely generous. The property is located on a quiet canal on the edge of the city, which is a great location as it is peaceful and only a stone's throw away from the backwaters! Overall, an amazing place to stay whilst in Alleppey.

Its very conveniently located - few steps from the beach. And you feel like at home. Hosts are very nice - and really helpful - treating you as part of family - helped me organize my bus ticket, and made me a local dessert that I couldn’t find in any restaurant, and we spent evening chatting on a terrace. Mayflower is the best homestay we have stayed in throughout all our trip in Kerala! Definitely the cleanest one, beautiful house with great vibes! Our hostess Suzan is incredible!! Helped us book tuk tuks and told us a few places to visit in our short stay. And her cooking just chef's kiss! The boat was really nice and well maintained. Did a nice cruise across the lake and into a smaller channel. Also did some kayaking which was all organised by Jos! Thank you. Everything was hassle free and the houseboat was nicely priced.

    We really enjoyed our stay at Snehatheeram Homestay. The accommodation is lovely and is located within walking distance of the bus stand, ATMs, shops, cafes and the canals. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming and had a range of suggestions on locations/food spots to visit. They also helped us arrange a really fun kayaking trip and a sunset boat trip at short notice.

He organized serveral tours for me to explore the incredible backwaters. Also the Homestay provides delicious breakfast and chai at all time. I highly recommend staying here if you visit Alappuzha.     Clean accomodation, and not expensive. We took the room for a work meeting but due to Johnson uncle,s initiative it turned out to be a fun stay. Especially their backwater advice. The houseboat was amazing and the village canoe cruise, even better. We have already recommended Johnsons himestay to our contacts.
