Excellent staff and very friendly service. We stayed in a room where we had a fabulous scenic view. Pool area was very calming. It was great to have a spa on-site as well. Very relaxing place if you don’t want to live in the center of noise and massive tourist areas. Loved it!

Everyone takes care of you. They are very kind. The owner answered inmediately when i booked , and we'll keep in contact all the time, to solve any doubt you have .You can see the beach from the terrace, its near and quite empty, and you can have lunch and dinner well prepared. The manager is so nice and helpful, really went out of his way to be welcoming! The location is great- seconds from the beach. They hadn’t been open long when I stayed - the mural in my room was beautiful, and the artist was here painting other rooms, so I think it will look gorgeous when it’s all finished.

I enjoyed every single moment of my four night stay at The Travancore Heritage. They are master of hospitality and you feel immediately welcomed by the female reception staff. The property is very large, plenty of space, beautifully maintained. Wonderful gardens, easy to stroll around, with fantastic beach views. They have 2 restaurants, with a wonderful selection of food choices, the chef and his team take care of your every need. I managed to squeeze in a few Ayurveda treatments, (only due to they were fully booked), the best I have received in India. The top swimming pool was very clean and lovely to chill out on the day beds after a day of sightseeing, location easy to walk to beach, local shops (good shopping), temples and church. You will need a tut tuk to visit lighthouse and town, just walk outside the resort and they will help you out. The other pool is for families and children. Their is activities to do if you like and a short walk to the beach, the lifeguards are wonderful and set up your day beds for you, great location for sunset! My room was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable and I loved the balcony that I could view the ocean from, the staff even left me towel animals. A special shout out to Annie for going above and beyond, her kindness is a gift! You could easily stay here for a week, I highly recommend booking your stay here.

    Beautiful seaview, quiet surrounding, attentive staff. Large comfortable room with fridge. Anskill, the house manager was extremely helpful with any request as well as very cheerful. The accomodation was very clean and well maintained. All in all made for a relaxing holiday

    The isolation and tranquillity of this holiday home is exceptional, booked it on the back of tremendous ratings and we were not disappointed. The staff were wonderful, the accommodation is a genuine 3***, breakfast, whilst simple was adequately good, and the pool a welcome relief at times. The owner, our host was so obliging and helpful, we will return!

    We had a fantastic family holiday at Taj Kovalam. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They were very accommodating and it felt like nothing was too much trouble! The breakfasts were delicious and the afternoon tea by the sea was a delightful touch that we looked forward to. The complimentary daily yoga sessions are a great way to start the day and the children enjoyed the evening boat rides on the lagoon. I had a great massage at the spa as well. All in all a fantastic stay. We look forward to coming back soon!

    The accommodations were adequate, has everything that you would require. Staff was amazing. Special mention Akhil and Shree Lal. Courteous and went the extra mile. Always friendly and helpful. Great spread for breakfast. Food in the restaurant was delicious. Relaxing atmosphere with all the facilities at hand.

Newly build,absolutly neat and clean,comfortable and cosy wirh superfast WIFI.Staff extremly friendly and helpful,with an attached restaurant and ayurveda-center with an experienced doctor,perfect to recover.10meters from a nice little beach,3 more restaurants and stalls plus a beautiful temple nearby,very calm and cosy. If you need the classical indian holiday hassle,its a 10min TukTuk ride to Kovalam or 30min walking.
