I’ve stayed a total of 4 nights at Jungle Hut following the good reviews of this place. Since the first minute after my arrival I felt very warm welcomed and part of the “family”. This place is such a great experience, people are so helpful and kind, surrounded by a fantastic nature and mountain view as well as animals like deer’s and langur monkeys just in front of your bungalow. The rooms are very clean and functional nice (not a given in India) and the food is just terrific ! My recommendation - jungle hut safaris are the best choice- I ve made one with the government jeep going into the wild and 2 with Jungle hut on small narrow roads (2,5h). They reasonable priced, being well guided and you most likely will see elephants, peacocks and sometimes even more 😊....as longest I am staying in India (expat), I will come back again next spring. Looking forward 😊

My best time in India! I am deeply grateful for Kumar and his staff for hosting me. I came to India for a wedding and wanted to see some wildlife in Masinagudi. Staying with Kumar was the perfect climax of my trip. I don’t know what was best: The food? The warm-hearted hospitality? The nice and clean rooms? The great safaris with Kumar‘s friend Daniel? Everything was just great! Since I work in the luxury hospitality, I know how to appreciate a lovely hotel and genuine hospitality. Stay here and get convinced yourself. @Kumar: Thank you very very much and I cannot wait to host you in Austria and also see you again here. See you soon! Ps:. You can also hope for some late night visitors: Just yesterday an elephant passed my room.

The best place to stay in Masinagudi. Loved the location and the ambience of the place. It is very quiet and peaceful, surrounded by Nilgiri hills on one side and the Masinagudi forest. The staff and the caretaker were very good, very friendly and they took care of us very well.

The staff were very cooperative. We had ordered for some food which was very tasty, served hot and fresh. Onion pakora and French fries. Also the breakfast was exceptional. Felt like home not like a or resort. Must visit for the experience. Various options of rooms. Special thanks to Mr. Yuvraj who was very helpful throughout.

    Jungle hut is one of the most amazing places i have stayed . Thank you to the friendly staff who were more like family to us during our vacation. There was utmost care taken to attend to our needs and it was home away from home. The food is just out of the world and I have never had such a culinary experience even in 5 star accomodations .
