The common and living spaces were like that in a 5 star hotel! The staff was wonderful and the place gets full points for cleanliness and maintenance. The food was good too. This is simply an extremely high quality accommodation in a relatively affordable range.

I spent three nights from 19-21 Dec in this guest house. The owner is so hospitable. The staff Gurung Samir is cheerful always with smiling face and busy to give us comfortability. Snow-peaked Kanchanjangha view is breathtaking from balcony. I enjoyed much.

The staff and the property itself were fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. The garden was beautiful. The food provided was delicious and mostly grown within the property. Whilst a little way out of the main town this was not an issue as transport was arranged and not expensive with pickup and return part of the deal.

The Cedar Inn is more than a hotel, it is a place where hospitality and respect for local culture meet with tradition. The athmosphere is reflecting the fact that all revenues are used for charitable purposes by fostering the buddhist community. Breakfast and dinner buffet (with live piano music) are excellent and highly varied. Service staff and management are extremely polite and helpful. The setting is colonial style - keeping up the tradition of Darjeeling. It is the only hotel with colonial style in Darjeeling that has such fantastic view on the Kangchenjunga and such a quiet surrounding. The buddhist spirituality is reflected in several details, e.g. minor rituals and the decoration. We will come back to this hotel whenever we will go to Darjeeling.

    We only stayed for 1 night however this place is located a little far from Namchi but kinda close to the CharDham temple. Becuz our room was the top room, the view from the balcony was wonderful

    The host and the entire place are simply brilliant . It was surprisingly run by such great set of people who cater you all your small needs to make you feel comfortable. Hands down one of the best place I’ve stayed in the entire Sikkim trip.

    This was our 1st home stay. The overall experience is exceptional. We rate this homestay 10/10. All facilities, staff, the entire team was very well mannered, respectful and friendly. The location is very nice…away from City chaos. The owner is an awesome person. We appreciate their dedication and determination towards the homestay. The interior and property is great and very beautiful. Food is very delicious.
