Very friendly helpful staff. We were thrilled with the gluten free breakfast they prepared for two of the family including pancakes, cinnamon rolls and bread. Although the accommodation looks like a scouting hut from outside, it feels modern inside. Great location close to main tourist sights. Our car was stuck in a snow drift about 400 m away from the house, and he drove out at 9pm to rescue us and pull us out of the snow. The accommodations themselves were also fantastic. Its home stay like for me and it never fails me in anyway. All staffs are friendly and its food was always at high standard. Bonus is its location! Apart from staying here during summer, each time I managed to see the aurora! This trip I literally saw it in bed through the window. I watched the Aurora in front of the accommodation for two days without stopping~^^ The heating was good and it was warm. It's in front of Lake Myvatn, so the view is good. If you open the window at the back, you can see the Volcano's Caldera. I stayed there for 2 days, and the old man at the reception was very friendly. ^^ The two dogs were very friendly.. had a comfortable stay.
