A beautiful and very modern cabin in a serene setting with almost no one around. Exceptional attention to detail with nothing left to chance. Excellent shower and bathroom. Very spacious, super modern even by hotel standards, with a really comfy bed. Top to bottom glass walls with beautiful views over the bay with seals (telescope included!) - watching them was great! Supermarket less than a 5 minute drive away. Hosts were wonderful. If you are the area and looking for peace and quiet, look no further - very highly recommended!

I want to add: my girlfriend forgot an important sweater of hers so we called them. They let us know he found the sweater and together we worked out a plan to get it back to us. This man sent the sweater by mail to Belgium so we could get it back?! This truly is peak hospitality, really taking care of your guests! Can only recommend!!

Everything, stunning location with a wide view over the valley, no light pollution (perfect to see Northern Lights). We stayed in the old house(should I say retro vintage?), luckily there were no other guests so we had it for ourselves😎. Beautifully arranged and spotless clean, rooms and bathroom are very modern, the rain shower was a high point, after driving 450km. Kitchen has everything we needed to prepare a great breakfast (it was my birthday), including free coffee and other items. Furniture brought us to another time in the past. We would definitely stay again

One of the cutest places we stayed during our tour. We had a little balcony were we made our breakfast and dinner. The room has a microwave, a toaster and a mini fridge. We absolutely love it. On top of that, the host took his time to show us where to go for the rest of our tour and gave us a map of the peninsula. We also got to see the Northern Lights which was an amazing experience.

A good location for a relaxing stay in Hjarðarholt, Mirror Suite is a holiday home surrounded by views of the mountain.

Isabelle and Marat are exemplary hosts and couldn’t have been more charming. The suite itself was exceptional in design and comfort and a great deal of thought had gone into the detail - beautiful linens and robes, well equipped kitchen and my favourite Skandinavisk toiletries. After some quite energetic salmon fishing it was wonderful to wind down at this wonderful suite, easing tired limbs in the sauna (with exceptional views) and falling into the most comfortable bed to dream about the lax! We really appreciate that our host have been waiting for us, nevertheless we were late for the checkin, they were so nice and friendly. The house is very clean, comfortable, warm and there is everything you need.

Exceptional place in a peaceful location off the beaten path. Cozy rooms with modern amenities, including a fantastic bed and shower. The host was kind and attentive, and even went out of her way to get us some ice from her neighbor. The breakfast was our favorite of the whole trip, especially the homemade waffles! We can't wait to return next time we visit Iceland.
