the staff were fantastic in all areas of the hotel. The hotel in general exceeded our expectations whether it was the games and books in common areas to the exceptional food in the restaurant. The hotel is also a close walk to the black sand beach with a short 10/15 min walk. One of the best hotel finds on our trip with the staff looking after our little 2 year old Austen like family :)

The staff was very nice and helpful. We asked for extra radiator for our room and we got it within an hour. We also had to leave early in the morning for the airport, so we got breakfast packs and coffee for our trip.

The space was absolutely pristine, excellent kitchen facilities and breathtaking view. The images of the property really do not do it justice, it is a comfortable, clean and well furnished space. We booked this last minute when the weather slowed our journey on the south coast, and honestly if I could do the trip again I would chose here as a base to explore from rather than Reykjavik.

Breakfast was everything that u needed: eggs, cheese, some meat cuts, some traditional fish, skyr and musli. Coffee machine available 24/7, self check in and out which was very convenient, location is amazing, the view breathtaking, was an exceptional experience sleeping next to a field of goats, the sounds of nature was refreshing

The apartment is a gem. It's right next to the Skogafoss and you can plan the hikes around the waterfall while staying here. It had all kitchen utensils we needed to fry, heat food from the market. We were also able to see northern lights during our stay. The host gave clear instructions for self check-in
