Very nice and spacious apartment, equipped with all necessary things you need for pleasant stay. We have arranged our arrival after midnight and everything went perfectly well. The location is also very good. At waking distance to the funicular towards the Old Town.

The object is neat and clean, in the very center of the city. Surrounded by restaurants and cafes, as well as shops. The hostess Maria welcomed us very kindly. Breakfast excellent and sufficient. It was a little more difficult to find parking because we were in a large van, but 500 m from the building there is a guarded parking suitable for larger vehicles (but there is also plenty of city parking). Great facility.

Everything ! I can normally find fault with just about anything - but I'm struggling here. Petronilla is a small boutique hotel in a quiet street close to the centre of the lower town. It is well positioned to walk up to the older, picturesque upper town (or for the funicular). The hotel is well appointed and comfortable - we were upgraded, so all rooms may not be quite as good as ours: spacious, tastefully decorated with a vast bed and equally huge bathroom. The road outside was very quiet at night for a city centre - even on the night Atalanta beat AC Milan. Breakfast was outstanding (I would particularly recommend the cheese omelette). But what really stands out here is the professionalism, friendliness and helpfulness of the staff who were all absolutely outstanding. Many thanks to you all - now where is that sixth star when you need it ?

Everything was perfect, location is great, you can get to the hotel by direct bus from city center or airport. Staff is excellent. Rooms are fully equipped with all necessary amenities. There are a lot of different restaurants nearby. Breakfast was great, and again staff is kind and always ready to help you with all your wishes. At the front of the hotel you will have a beautiful city view.

    Good quality room for a reasonable price. The owner is really kind and always ready to answer your questions. The breakfast is in a local cafe, which is about a 3 minute walk from the apartment. All in all, I would recommend this accomodation for a few day stay in the city. And also, the area around the accommodation was very clean.

    Villa Gaffurio exceeded all expectations with its outstanding hospitality and exceptional service. When my friend missed his flight, the owner went above and beyond to provide him with a safe place to stay, even late at night. The next day, the owner personally assisted him to the airport with a friendly attitude. The room was comfortable and well-equipped. I highly recommend Villa Gaffurio for its warm hospitality and comfortable accommodations.

    The apartment was clean and spacious and the view from the windows was amazing, overlooking the Città Alta. One of the best accommodations we've ever chosen, very conveniently located and managed by a really friendly and helpful host, Giorgio, who reached out before our stay to give us very helpful information on how to get to the apartment and was available for any questions we had. We will definitely choose Casa Maria if we revisit the beautiful city of Bergamo.
