I found B&B PalmaViola went really beyond any expectations I had. Booking a B&B, you feel lucky to just "get in and get out," but I was able to meet Palma, the owner, as well as her delightful mother! We had a couple of lovely conversations...as there was quite a "story" in my staying there! I was extremely pleased with my stay, and would gladly return, and would recommend the PalmaViola to anyone wishing a pleasant and convenient stay in Caserta (it's only a short walk to the Reggia). I was coming to Caserta for the very first time, on a "personal" mission...not to see the famous "Reggia di Caserta," (although I did go spend an entire day there...), but rather to seek out the possibility of finding and procuring a copy of my parents' original Marriage Certificate from 1945! My father was an officer in the American Armed Forces, and arrived in Caserta in 1945. His unit was housed across the street from my mother's family, and eventually my father and my mother were able to meet and "court." By July of 1945 they were married in the Cathedral of St. Michael the Archangel, in the center of the town. Now, all the church records, as a result of the damages and chaos of WWII were moved from the local churches (where they are normally kept) to the general archives of the Diocese of Caserta, right next to the Cathedral. As I said before, I was on "a mission" to see if my parents' records of marrieage still existed, and whether I could secure a copy. In brief, my search was successful, and after a mere 20 minute seach carried out in my presence by the Archivist of the Diocese, I walked away with two photocopies of the original document! Here's the final "kicker": My mother's name was "PALMA," the same name of the owner of the PalmaViola B&B.

Gino met us at the rail station and took us to the apartment. As the other room wasn't booked we had the whole place to ourselves. The apartment is very large and airy (high ceilings), the kitchen well stocked so we could help ourselves to breakfast and Gino had also kindly left us some delicious mozzarella di bufala

Our stay in this b&b was great! The host was very friendly and helped us. There was a great pizzeria near and also supermarket. Walking distance to everything important, 10 minutes walk to Caserta Palace. We could leave our luggage to b&b while we went to visit the city.

A real gem of a find , we changed our journey last minute due to.the rail strike . Best accommodation, lovely apartment, very clean , comfy large bed , clean modern bathroom with a rain shower . Host Gigi was lovely , helped us arrange a private driver to the airport alot cheaper than advertised . Caserta was beautiful, the Palace a must visit .

Would highly recommend this place - it’s quiet , safe, in a great location and the host was so kind and helpful. We arrived a little early and they accommodated this. We also let them know that we were vegan …and the breakfast was above our expectations.

    A luxurious facility for our stay in Caserta which was close to the Reggia di Caserta. Stylish room was large and very comfortable. Great bathroom and amenities provided which is a nice touch. Mini fridge was good to have. Paid private parking was available at a private car park approximately 7 minutes walk. Location is in a central area of Caserta which is quite lively at night. Host was easy to communicate with.

    My family and I stayed here for the last night of our Southern Italy holiday. If you have a car, this place is a great choice. It’s only a 20-minute drive from Naples Airport, and you can also visit the palace nearby. There are also plenty of restaurant nearby. The breakfast is excellent, and the staff are very friendly. The beds are clean and comfortable, and the bathroom is spacious and well-equipped with toiletries. If you have more time, the nearby outlet mall is also worth a visit.

    Very spacious accommodation. Good location, only a short walk to the Reggia and the railway station. I didn't eat breakfast, but the bar where it is served does good espressos and grappa. My arrival was delayed by more than four hours because of the earthquakes in Napoli. Antonello kept in touch and kindly came out in the early hours of the morning when I finally arrived. I would stay again.

    felt so grateful to stay here for one night , the host owner kept patience and awaited for us for couple hours till midnight even though our train was delayed arrival to Caserta due to unexpected weather factor caused to the transportation delay . we gave each other a big hug while we met up in the midnight finally . thanks for the patience and impression with us during the travel . we really take this memorable and unforgettable experiences in our life .would like to highly recommend this accommodation for any traveler .

    Everything. The large size bedroom (we had the room with the two beds) and bathroom. Even the shower was a large size. Just being next to the palace especially after doing 10,000 steps visiting the palace and gardens it was good to be 5 steps from the apartment. Police guard the palace consistently making the apartment feel safe also. Pizza Art was a great choice for food at reasonable prices one of many places just outside the door.
