We were two families (grown ups and two teenagers, all together 8 persons) staying in the apartment during our ski vacation. Since the kitchen is a bit small, we had our meals at the table downstairs. The room downstairs is the place to hang out. Monterosa ski is just about 10 minutes away by car.
