Boats and ships are reachable by a very short walk. Also the train station is very close by. During a bad weather day at Lake Como we visited Milano - it takes only 1.5 hours by train. The surf spot is also within walking distance. The apartment has everything you need for your vacation, including good kitchen equipment. Our accommodation was immaculate, very spacious and the facilities are fantastic, especially the jacuzzi spa area. We had breakfast one of the mornings and it was delicious and is very good value. The location is also great, a short stroll to several cafes and restaurants. There is also a supermarket and pharmacy in walking distance. The ferry terminal is very near too and Eleonora kindly printed off and highlighted the timetable for me. Only 10 minutes walk from beautiful lakeside beach with nice bar, food and kayak hire. 5 mins drive will take you into centre of the small and pleasant town of Colico, with shops, restaurant and local ferry station.
