The apartment is very tasteful, has everything you need and an amazing view from the terrace. Also, it is very close to all amenities. The pool is a lovely additional source of recreation. It was quiet and surrounded by beautiful properties with colourful gardens. The coffee maker with Lavazza pods was well used. The apartment has a roomy bathroom with a spectacular shower. Communication with the hosts was just how I like it…very quick and helpful responses but we were left alone to enjoy our holiday to the full. A faultless stay in a staggeringly gorgeous part of the world.

We spent two nights in Portovenere and absolutely loved La Vongola. The apartment is perfectly located and beautifully decorated, with thoughtful use of space. We were a family of four plus our dog, and the apartment was very comfortable for all of us. Highly recommended!

    We stayed here a couple of years ago and still very much enjoyed the air conditioned property. Really a 3 room accommodation with a lovely little balcony overlooking the harbor and the people walking on the pierside below with a few restaurants. The breakfast was excellent and my wife loved her cappucino. Unfortunately we could only stay one night. Next time it will be at least 3 nights.

    Maison Violet is a wonderful accommodation to stay in. Out of our many holidays, this is one of our favourite places. It is quiet and peaceful with stunning views of Portovenere and the Mediterranean sea. Portovenere is a beautiful, calm and interesting town to visit. I would highly recommend staying in Portovenere and specifically Maison Violet.

    I had a wonderful stay at AboutItalyHoliday. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The attention they gave to their guests was remarkable. The highlight of my mornings was undoubtedly the great view and the delicious coffee they served. The combination of great service and excellent coffee truly enhanced my overall experience. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a pleasant and welcoming stay in Italy.

    Amazing location right near the town centre. A few stairs but really not many compared to most of the towns in other parts of Cinque Terre. We loved the town of Portovenere and especially loved staying at Santa Caterina. The accomodation was very clean and our room had a balcony with an amazing outlook. The breakfast was lovely and the staff went above and beyond, even helping us book a restaurant for dinner. (Their suggestion of La Chiglia was amazing and such a nice walk along the water!)
