The location is within 10-15 min walking distance from Ortigia, the beautiful, historic part of Syracuse, but it is much more affordable than accommodations in Ortigia, and has access to restaurants and shops that are much more affordable than in Ortigia. Within walking distance to the famous archeological museum. A beautiful spacious, centrally located apartment that has a level of cleanliness that you won't even find in five star hotels. Despite central location the apartment is quiet thanks to the double glazed windows. Good quality linen and towels and very comfy bed. There were plenty of inexpensive eateries around that specialised in local food. The single room was spacious and very comfortable, and the kitchen was equipped with everything you'd need in a self catering accommodation. At the welcome meeting, Luka, the manager provided a lot of very useful information about the local fresh food market and the places worth visiting.
