This was my favorite stay during my trip! Surrounded by the countryside, this 280 years old house has all the charms of its age, but still reasonably modern amenities. The staff is especially friendly, helpful, and welcoming. And you can get amazing home-cooked meals too! If you want to go out of the beaten path and explore the rural side of Japan, this is absolutely the best place!

Views are very beautiful and the balcony was also very nice. The room is spacious and has all the usual needs. Free parking which is great, Onsen although we didn't use it and wasn't tattoo friendly. Laundry room was also useful

    For lovers of traditional Japanese architecture like me, staying at GAMP HOUSE was a wonderful experience. The building is over 250 years old. And the food was exquisite - give yourself the full treat of the breakfast, lunch and dinner!

    The hotel was about 10 minutes away from Iwaki Station and a Shopping Centre which made it a very good location to stay at. The hotel was really well done and also had it's own mini shopping complex on the bottom floors as well.
