The best stay we had in Japan, by far. The host is an amazing woman, and she makes you feel right at home. It’s an old building, which was no problem for us. The room itself is extremely spacious, and I never expected the futton beds to be some damn comfy. Had the best sleep ever here! WiFi works amazing, breakfast is delicious, and the location couldn’t be better. Amazing street, with good cafes and restaurants and close to the sights. Definitely will be coming back!

Staff was incredibly friendly. Appartement really spacious for Japanese standards, modern, clean, well equipped. Location not very near to train station, but easy (and affordable!) to catch a taxi at the train station. We came by car; free parking available. Quiet location, large supermarket nearby. Matsumoto is a great travellers' hub for day trips nearby.

    Extremely friendly and helpful host family! They gave so many great recommendations for the area. The property was spotless, and the onsen was available to book for private use for 30mins, which was great. Free use of bikes and umbrellas was much appreciated during our stay. Free parking on site also, which was hard to find in the area at other accommodations.

    Nice alpine style lodge in a lovely setting. There is separate kitchen and living area in the accommodation we stayed. The space is comfortable and right next to Norikura Kogen and the Norikura Kogen Onsen. There is also rock climbing wall available for use, which the children really enjoyed. Staff is friendly and helpful.

    We loved our stay at Ryokan Seifuso - one of the best places we stayed during three weeks in Japan. Very comfortable Japenese style accomodation, with bikes to ride and a delicious breakfast. We also found our favourite restaurant of the trip nearby - a local ramen and fried chicken place - Kawashiyo.

    We like the tatami floors everywhere including the hallways and the elevator. We like everything. Best accommodation we stayed in Japan. Relaxing. Good value. And also the complementary hot/cold drinks, yakult in the morning, soba in the evening, and ice block/ ice cream on stick after the hot bath was lovely. Really nice view and facillities we’ll come back again. Very friendly staff too. Thank you! We enjoyed our stay 😊❤️

    Easy accommodation on the outskirts of Matsumoto. Appeared to have great Onsen facilities but did not have time to try them as only stayed one night. Breakfast the best of our trip so far.

    A cheap accommodation where you get what you pay for. A very basic room but it was clean which is the most important thing and perfectly fine to stay for a couple of nights. The hotel is in a very good location close to the castle and a 15 minute walk to the train station. If you are on a travelling holiday it is perfect because you are spending such little time in the room and get cheap but comfortable accommodation!
