Also loved the onsen, although the rotenburo didn’t really have much view but it was clean and comfortable. Liked that the staff swapped the baths around for the two nights I stayed, so we were able to enjoy both baths! The views were great also, loved that you can stroll to enjoy the sea view at the lobby balcony area. Sadly it was only for one night. Since the building is old the sanitaries are old fashioned as well, but this adds to the charme of the ryokan in my opinion. The garden view was beautiful and the onsen was very relaxing. The elderly lady at the reception was extraordinarily kind.
