The food was amazing as well. Generous, multi-course meals for every meal. Both Onsen are great, but the outdoor pools are particularly excellent. We stayed as a group of 6 in 2 rooms. Food was very traditional Japanese and was always set menu. There was so much no one went hungry even if they were picky.
