Very friendly staff. Our coordinator spoke both English and Japanese so easy to communicate. Onsen water was very good and relaxing. Meals were very good. Location next to historic stone steps for easy access to shopping and temple. Room had nice peaceful view of mountain range.

Location was superb. Not too pricey either, considering I booked the night before! It was a nice stop as I had been on a 5 day road-trip, and this was in between 2 locations for me, which made it convenient to stay at and rest. There is a Lawson across the street, as well as a ramen place. They have a great restaurant downstairs.

Excellent experience of a traditional Ryokan, the staff were super friendly and we had a fantastic dinner, more special than we could have hoped for! The inn itself was very cozy, only 4 rooms so the guests were given full attention. A very nice private onsen as well (2 bath houses for 4 rooms but no waiting to use one).

    The hospitality and services are excellent! During our visit, we were treated like members of a royal family. The most amazing experience that has ever happened to us. The food is so amazing and delicious and all staff are very friendly. Despite the fact that some staff are not fluent in English, they have an electronic translator that will facilitate communication. Our stay at your fantastic hotel was the most enjoyable. We are very appreciative that we were able to stay with you. I appreciate all that you have done! We’ll be back soon! :)

    We received a nice welcome, very traditional rooms, friendly staff. All you can eat buffet style breakfast with a variety of things to eat was great. Didn't get time to visit the onsens available due to running out of time during our one night stay.

    Fun stay, the onsens were beautifull and staff were super friendly and helpfull. Dinner and breakfast were a very fun experience as well if you want to try authentic japanese cuisine (not talking ramen or sushi :p)

    The staff were so beautiful and kind! The private onsen at sunset was a perfect way to end a day exploring Ikaho. The hotel is in a perfect location to explore everything there is to see in Ikaho and just around the corner from a bus stop to explore surrounding areas. We will be back to stay at Mimatsukan.     Stay View Ikaho was an extremely comfortable, clean and spacious stay for two in the heart of the famous Ikaho onsen town. If you want to explore Ikaho and surrounding mountains I can’t recommend this accommodation more highly. Check in / out was smooth, view was stunning, was very quiet and beds were very comfortable. Parking was free and always available throughout our stay.
