The apartment was very clean and spacious and has everything that you might need for a comfortable stay. Aki-san is a very nice and caring host, and the breakfast was superb. Highly recommended to stay here, but it is better to have a car, which we did, and it was easy to find the location with google map.

We had 10 people staying in this house. 6 adults, 4 toddlers. We were very happy with our stay. The room is pretty spacious. And the neighborhood is quiet. Very close to the local famous kid's park by car. We wish we had stayed there longer to have more time exploring locally. The bed was comfortable too.

Beautiful traditional style accommodation that made us feel like a local. The bike hire was a very nice touch for the area and we made great use of them. The owners were very receptive and helpful. Lovely stay!

    Excellent stay at this beautiful guest house during our cycle around Lake Biwa! It's an absolute gem of a place. The property itself is very well maintained, with traditional features throughout (such as the tatami room and the Kotatsu in the living room). The owners were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would love to come back! Highly recommended.

    The owners were so friendly and caring! It was such a lovely experience staying with them! If you want to have a relaxing day in a countryside area and just want to experience the laid back life there I recommend you to stay there. Besides it's not far to go to lake biwa by a little walking and to go to imazu to catch a ferry to chikubu Island.

    Everything about our stay is perfect. This Ryokan is full of character. Great hospitality from the owner - they are very friendly and made sure our stay was comfortable and provided good dinner recommendations. Having an onsen in the ryokan is a huge bonus - this is probably the highlight of our stay. Authentic Japanese breakfast served. The location is near the train station making sites around Lake Biwa accessible. We're so glad we stayed here.

    Everything is perfect, and the host is very friendly and approachable. She picked me up when I arrived the place and drove me around to see the sea of cloud. The traditional house of onyundani was so peaceful and I have peace during my stay. The food prepared by the host was so good.

    Just 10 mins walk from station. Spacious whole house, enough for a family stay. Nice bath with free laundry and drying. Free bicycle borrowing if stay. Very quite and nice star view.

    The host was nice. Everything was clean. Towels and some amenities were provided. The house is big and there are places to chill. The kitchen is very well equipped if you want to make your own food, just make sure to buy things before you get to the accommodation. There is no convenience stores or supermarkets around.

    Great accommodation to experience true old fashioned way of Japanese living back in days, yet modern adjustment were made to make stay very comfortable! Host were extremely friendly and helpful, cute pets living at site was welcoming to make you feel at home. Food was excellent too!!

    We stayed here while cycling around Lake Biwa. The indoor tents are set up in a large garage, so there is a lot of room. It was decorated with various artwork and trinkets from the Showa era, making the place feel very nostalgic. Tomo and Mei were excellent and made our one night stay very comfortable. They prepared a hearty BBQ for us and even drove us to the local supermarket so we could pick up beers! There is also a cafe/ restaurant on site where Mei prepared a tasty Taiwanese breakfast for us!
