I stayed for a couple of nights in Yamagata, and had an excellent rest here. Not only are the facilities spacious, comfortable and clean, but also you get a convenience store within the same building, plus a gym, and quality amenities. Highly recommended for both business and leisure trips to Yamagata!

    The hotel is right at the Yamagata Station, so very central. Its a bit more of a business hotel, but that brings positives like a more modern design, and with nice decor. The hotel is connected to a shopping mall, but thats only open between 10am and about 8pm. The rooms are small, but quite comfortable. We loved the bed after nights on floors and hard mattresses. Breakfast was very good as well. We parked our car in the parking tower, but we had a bit of trouble finding the right entryway. Nevertheless a great stay.

    Stayed 15 nights as my wife was in the nearby hospital after an accident. The staff were so very helpful and caring. The room was quite large and most comfortable.

    1. food was great. enjoyed the taste, options, service, ambience, warmth and scenery. 2.though we often have to order in advance, the hosts accommodated orders after anytime and even asked if we need meals when we forgot. 3.friendliness, thoughtfulness, helpfulness and hospitality during my stay there.

    One of the luxury accommodations in the town. Hotel is annexed to the city's train station, making it a perfect location for a home base if you will be touring the prefecture. Bars and izakaya restaurants across the street from the hotel. Breakfast is expensive but elaborate. Friendly english speaking and non english speaking staff. Bed leans on the hard side, which is the standard across japan.

    I enjoyed the public bath, the convenience store on site. The location and the free parking was a real blessing. Nice city, friendly people, the hotel is a bit old but the room was larger than the room you get in more modern hotel. Awesome for people who enjoy Showa still accommodations.I would definitely stay rhere again
