We saw giant squirrels and good birdlife- grey horn bill, 3 types of barbets, etc from our room. They have a free trip to the waterfall - we jumped in for a swim from the rock ledge which was exciting and a guided village, cave- temple walk. We expected all of those things but what we didn't expect was to meet the most amazing guy in Arun, the resident naturalist. The highlight of our stay was the minutes and hours we spent with Arun. He is so knowledgeable and passionate about all animals and plants but he is also a real free spirit and general all round hero. The location of the cottage was so peaceful and quiet and you could hear any sounds from the road. Dirula went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed particularly a Wi-Fi router to help with some difficult personal issues we were having to deal with. Much appreciated.
