The room size was fine, but it didn’t have a pleasant smell. There was no kettle, no proper TV channels, and no telephone. Although the staff were very friendly, no one offered me Wi-Fi. The washroom wasn’t clean, and there were no towels. If these facilities were provided, the stay would have been much better.

Great accommodation with a beautiful lake view! A big shout-out to the staff, who were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and more than enough. We even had dinner at the on-site restaurant, and it was exceptional. The only minor thing is the traffic noise coming from the main street, but it’s ok if you’re not noise-sensitive.

Lovely balcony view and super spacious room, English-style breakfast was a real treat (since we have been having local style breakfast everyday for a long time), Helpful staff, and we enjoyed the property is a very walkable to the lake. We booked quite last minute and arrived in the evening, we were picked up and welcomed with a traditional Sri Lankan meal cooked by the amazing nana Nandi. The rooms are clean and the surroundings beautiful and quiet (apart from the beautiful nature sounds). Sudesh the owner is super helpful and tries to accommodate you in every need (from a Kandy tour, tuktuk service, or help by choosing a taxi driver, to a nice chat with a beer). The family has a lovingly warmth which makes you feel welcomed and at ease. We stayed here with our kids, but I would also recommend it to couples without. The fact that there are (almost) daily cooking classes makes it easy to meet people. To summarize: a recommendation from my heart! We will meet again <3
