They stayed up to get us from our train and we were welcomed with tea and cookies. We had the best meals we have had in Sri Lanka here, both breakfasts and dinner. The rooms are in their house, but you still feel like you have your own space. The family are so lovely, friendly and accommodating. Our room and the villa was extremely clean, the bed was very comfy and we had the BEST food here. They cooked us dinner which was delicious and the breakfast was amazing. The accommodation is very close to Nanu Oya train station (5 min walk) and there is a couple of beautiful waterfalls nearby the villa which the family recommended so we had a lovely walk before catching our train.Guest review byAliceYoung couple

It was great for that purpose. The accommodation itself is as described; clean, double bed, private bathroom. Host is accommodating and cooked us dinner and breakfast. When we wanted to travel from this station and the train was cancelled, this was a great place to stay over. Even though it was later at night, the family welcomed us nicely.
