Manoji and Manitha are a lovely couple and made me feel so welcomed and cared for in my first 24 hrs in Sri Lanka. They picked me up from the airport and were the perfect welcome to Colombo. the Highbury Colombo is a beautiful architecturally designed house and garden, and feels very secluded despite being in the big city. I had a very peaceful one night stay and a delicious homemade Sri Lankan breakfast in the morning before I left to the south coast. I would highly recommend the Highbury as a beautiful spot to stay in Colombo - I would absolutely go back :) thank you!

If I should come back to Colombo, I would stay here again in any case. The hotel shines with its cleanliness and is very professionally run. The room has everything and everything works perfectly. The staff was very friendly and supportive. I felt like I was in a 5-star hotel here. The closeness to the beach is brilliant. You can reach the ocean in just 2 minutes walking distance and have a beautiful beach for walking and swimming. On the other hand, you are not just in a touristic part of the city and have various local shopping facilities and restaurants right on your doorstep. The location is very quiet and the singing of the birds makes you feel like you're not in the big capital. The internet is very fast and working the whole time. The breakfast was very delicious.

    Room was very clean and A/C is working. Bed sheets were also clean and tidy . There is a pool which is super clean and nice. A little bit far from the city center but not too far. You can enjoy the nature, view and have a chill/relaxing day. Amazing view, very kind and helpful staffs also. Arosh was really kind to us. Amazing person. We planned to stay 1 night but ended up staying 3 nights. Lasty, it was a great experience! Totally worth the price ❤️👏
