The location was nice across the road from a quiet beach. It had safe secure parking if you rent a car. It was kept so clean with cleaning ladies every day or two who did a fabulous job. All the staff were very friendly and accomadating and can help you with anything. WiFi was good and worked the whole time we were there. Would recommend this as a great base for exploring the island and keeping costs low by cooking yourself. It's possible to stay their without a car as there's public transport but a car would be better. Not much restaurants nearby you need to walk 20-30 mins for them but that's ok as it's a nice safe walk.

The owners are very kind and responsive. They explain where to go and what to see and also provide a list of activities and contacts. The breakfast is homemade and delicious, especially the french toast and the yogurt with granola. The water in the pool has a very natural feeling, and there is no taste or smell of chlorine which makes swimming in it very comfy If you are planning to spend some time in the north, i would definitely suggest booking some nights here.

The cleaning ladies came in every day - emptied the bin , cleaned and tidied up where necessary , changed the towels practically every other day and sheets very regularly . What we particularly loved ( and we have never had this in any other accommodation anywhere) is a personal water filter system in our kitchen , therefore saving buying huge bottles of water and having to carry them back from the supermarket . We would also like to mention 2 excellent restaurants a couple of minutes walk from the apartments - Kimbo Lebanese kitchen , which is very reasonably priced , as well as La Payote ( more upmarket but lovely for a special treat ) . We loved the beautiful Mon Choisy public beach which is just under 1k away , as well as the local Cannoniers beach which is nearer .

It’s the perfect place to relax and recharge. A small hotel, tasteful decoration, wonderful view from the room (all rooms have an ocean view), amazing gourmet style food. The staff was fantastic - genuinely kind and committed to make the stay perfect. The stay exceeded all my expectations.

Dimitri, John and all the staff are amazing people: they helped us if we need (even to organise tours). The rooms are clean and the guesthouse is a relaxing place. Breakfast is very good: crepes, fresh fruits, eggs, bacon and all kinds of specialty. Super recommended :)

    We loved our stay at Brahmanhut. There are three modern Eco Huts in a lovely green garden, with a wonderful pool. The garden is so lush and green you won’t even notice you have neighbors. It’s located just off the main beach road. Ravi and his daughter Liza were super helpful and provided a lovely breakfast every morning. I would definitely stay again when visiting Mauritius.

    Although not beach front, I loved the location of the property. It was an easy 200m walk to the beach. The one bedroom was a bit on the small side but it worked adequate for our needs. The main bedroom was incredibly spacious. The two toilets was convenient and although only one shower it wasn’t an issue for us 4 adults. Ancerine was the perfect host, she was very helpful and accommodating and she was always willing to sort any request out. I would definitely stay there again.

    Everything was perfect. Host Ancerine is very welcoming and responsive. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The location is great too: beaches, restaurants and supermarket are nearby, just a 5 minutes of drive. Great price/quality rate accommodation for vacation.

    Sandrine and Ravi make this place to a unique and very beautiful location. The rooms are very cosy enclosed in a lovely garden. We enjoyed the diverse breakfast together with other guests. The hosts supported us and provided many helpful recommendations throughout our stay such as organizing a taxi for arrival and departure. The accommodation is in a very quiet, slightly remote location in a dead-end street. For excursions on the island or to the beach we used a rental car.
