Its a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere :) There is not much around the property but it has everything inside what you could need. Most of the Villas are beach front. Everything is clean. Staff are very friendly. Food selection is amazing. From arabic to asian. You can leave your kids in a kids club and spend some time in the adults only areas. They have a small shop inside so you can buy some equipment you might need in the ocean or some souveniers. Once in a week they have a beach concert. Every evening live music at the restaurants. Have shuttle or taxi service. Water in the pool perfect temperature and has almost none chemicals in it. You can have dinner even at you terrace. They bring everything from the main menu. Sunsets are beautiful and if you want great insta photos its the right place.

Tamassa Resort was exactly what we were looking for. We loved our stay! Our room had a beautiful view overlooking one of the pools with the ocean beyond. The room itself was spacious, with a comfortable bed, double sinks, a bathtub, and a separate shower. The food was excellent throughout our stay. We enjoyed breakfast each morning and appreciated the variety in the dinner buffet. We tried à la carte once on lobster night, and it was definitely worth the 4000 MUR (plus a 20% discount). The beach area was stunning—possibly the best we’ve experienced. It’s surrounded by a coral reef that breaks the waves before they reach the shore, making the water perfect for snorkeling, paddle boating, kayaking, and more. We chose the half-board package, which was the right decision for us. We also rented a car through the hotel (via their partner) for a couple of days. The process was easy, and the rental was very affordable. All in all, 5/5!

Our stay at the Chamarel Mountain Chalets was a highlight of our trip through Mauritius and we really enjoyed being there. The entire team was very friendly and helpful and made our days unforgettable. Our chalet was very spacious and very tastefully furnished. The kitchen team conjured up a hearty breakfast and a tasty, varied dinner menu from the small kitchen every day. After our excursions in the surrounding area, the small hotel offered a relaxed and quiet atmosphere.

    Our holiday at the hotel was wonderful. Very good food, nice people, all the time they made sure that we didn't lack anything. Wiktor with the service a wonderful man. There are several restaurants in the hotel, so everyone will choose something for themselves. Beautiful golf course, great kids club. General manager great person, very friendly to guests, very helpful. It's a pity that the holidays pass so quickly.

    It was a lovely and relaxing place for a holiday 😊. The staff were brilliant and treated my family with lots of respect. A big thank you to the house manager, Kevin Hemra, who aided us a lot during my stay. I really appreciate the way he treats his clients.

    Loved the accessibility and willingness to make accommodations for disability. Tamassa is great for people with limited ability and disability. The staff were sincerely friendly and helpful but not overbearing. Overall, it was a fantastic stay - we'll definitely be back!

    I was there for the second time. The impressions of my first stay were confirmed: Good value for money, very good service, paradisiacal atmosphere and always a free umbrella on the beach. Can't say much about the surrounding area as I did a mix of vacation and work and didn't leave the resort - although the island has a lot of beautiful things to offer.
