It is a very good place to stay. We liked it very much and we had a great time here. There are many things to see and Meema is a very good host. She also gives information about many things. The host is also a famous singer. He is called Guruji and he teaches many children about Tabla and music. He himself lives in South Africa, but his house is here. It was very nice to meet everyone and it felt like home. That is why we liked this place very much. We want other people to come and stay here too.

Shanti Nivas is the place in Mauritius. A couple of minutes driving from the wonderful beaches of Belle Mare and Palmer beach, this is a great place to enjoy the best of Mauritius in a far more economic way. We had a spacious bedroom with private bathroom and a little kitchen where we could cook our own meals, But Shanti Nivas is a lot more than just a place to stay, this is a place where you feel like home. The host, Mr. jay is a one of a kind master host. He does everything to make you feel at home, and soon he became a friend. Don't expect a 5 stars resort by 1/10 of the price you pay for it in Mauritius, but you can certainly expect a 10 times better service. Thanks Jay, you're the man and you have built a quite unique concept in Mauritius by allowing everyone to have the possibility of visit the wonderful Mauritius with a limited budged. I cannot recommend enough your place to anyone who always dreamed to visit Mauritius but couldn't afford the extremely expensive hotels.

I had an incredible stay at Ocean Terraces, located right on the beach with stunning views. The penthouse is well-appointed with a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and a rooftop jacuzzi.     The apartment was part of the hotel complex. We were greeted Ricardo who was very helpful in showing us around and explaining everything. It is very well equipped and clean and provides the basics fir a stay such as condiments, washing up liquid, cooking oil. The complex itself has a beach, pool and restaurants but no shop to buy food. This is located nearby in Riviere du Rampart. There are activities available through the hotel if you wish. Overall an excellent property to stay in.

    Amazing apartment, really well equipped, clean, well maintained, comfortable, and beautiful inside. It is exactly as the pictures and even better. We stayed there with our 2.5 y old, the apartment is opposite a play area and she loved it, walking distance to the beach and pool. The area is safe and quiet. Would absolutely recommend for anyone to stay here.

    The hotel itself is so beautiful! The place is quiet and far from capital city! The sea is beautiful and clean. Especially blue lagoon which U must visit during your stay! Hotel offers a lot of free activities and U should try them! EVERY member of the staff is so kind and wonderful - providing absolutely amazing service! Loved it and have never seen better! I stayed for one week and enjoyed every minutes spent in this beautiful place! I recommend so much! The place looks exactly like in the pics!

    A super comfortable property on the East Coast of Mauritius. Suitable for staying within the resort complex to relax, or exploring nearby hotspots like Poste de Flacq, Poste Lafayette and Flacq town centre. Apartment was really well equipped and felt like a home away from home. Michael's hosts on the ground, Jacqueline and Ricardo, were lovely and took great care in welcoming us and making sure we had what we needed.

    Large 4 bedroom Villa, close to the beach, nice splash pool. The service received from Raphaele (owner) and Mampta who cleaned the villa, was great and we received a lovely cooked chicken curry dinner with coconut tart on our arrival which was late at night. Safe and private. We enjoyed our family of 5 adults and 2 babies stay very much.and strongly recommend this place.
