The welcome is as good as anywhere I have ever stayed – it is small and it has the feel of a family home. Nothing is too much trouble. Everything is done with a smile, and the staff will universally go the extra mile. Our laundry was donedaily, and when the vegetarian asked for a different main course, it was willingly provided. I would highly recommend green elephant for anyone visiting Malawi for business or pleasure. The facilties in general were fantastic however it was the staff who really made the stay particularly wonderful. Everyone was so helpful, kind and warm. Nothing was too much trouble! The flat is clean and well equipped, the mattresses are of good quality and the area is quiet.
