The location is excellent, a short two minute stroll away from the Plaza Principal/Mayor and the large cathedral. The market is is right next there. The hotel is clean and the staff is welcoming, kind and helpful. Our double-room had a large terrace. Hotel muy chulo! ;)

I had great stay at this hostel! What really stood out to me is that each room is completely separate, which is pretty rare for a hostel. It’s such a nice touch because you get a bit more privacy while still enjoying the social vibe of a hostel. Definitely a huge plus! The staff were friendly and fun, the location is amazing. Everything I needed was close by. The place has a really cool, laid-back style with a mix of artsy and nature-inspired decor.

Just wow. The design of this hotel is really something. Its so inconspicuous when you see the outside door. As soon as you enter it’s something else. Also one of the best things was the included breakfast.

The staff is really helpful and nice, we felt well welcomed! The room was amazing - very comfortable bed, nice big TV, hot water, great AC++! Rooftop pool was clean and nice, really enjoyed it early in the morning and at night. Emplacement is amazing, next to Paseo Montejo and still easily walkable to the Plaza Grande. Our favorite coffee shop was just 5min away (Soco) and other great options too. Would go again without hesitation. There was not a ton of guests which made it extra relaxing

I'm sorry I don't remember the girls' names, but the staff was wonderful and caring, provided a lot of information. The rooms are tastefully decorated, with many small interesting interior details. The beds are very comfortable. Guests are free to use the large kitchen for their own needs. There is a parking space. The breakfast is presented tastefully, quite filling.

Absolutely loved our stay at Villa Merida, everything was perfect and Batiste, the manager, was brilliant, so helpful and friendly, wish we had booked longer than the 4 nights we stayed, location is great to get into the centre of Merida, we can’t wait to come back to stay!!!

    We loved staying here. The location is central and it's easy to get to places. The accommodations are clean, well appointed and the housekeeping is excellent. It's a beautiful mission and very peaceful and relaxing, right in the heart of the city. We felt safe and the staff was friendly and caring. Breakfast was more than we expected and well done. We enjoyed our stay here.

    My arrival was very early in the AM check in wasn't until late that afternoon they made accommodations for me to have a room available for my arrival time I am so appreciative. This was my 2nd visit with them I definitely recommend.

    This was for sure one of the most aesthetically impressive accommodations we’ve ever been in. All the details are very curated and it feels like you really live the local experience. Location is just a short walk (15-20 mins) from a few nice restaurants. We’d definitely recommend!

    Travelling a lot and this was one of the best accommodations I have ever been. Location is good because it's close to the centre but not in the most busy street. Room is clean and spacious, with efficient and silent air-conditioning and comfortable bed. The hotel itself is beautifully designed. Coffee and other drinks are served for free. Staff is the best. Service by the staff is top-notch.

    Carlos and the team at Casona Origen Merida are top tier. We were provided with a list of recommendations for things to do in and around Merida before our arrival. The staff were readily available and the brekky is delish. Carlos also went above and beyond helping me with a DHL delivery for things I forgot at accommodation in another city. Absolutely loved this boutique hotel and would stay again. The rooms are beautifully designed and spacious. There are two lush pools and the greenery in the garden make it really peaceful 10/10

    The accommodations are beautiful. Juan, Lulu and MaryEllen are terrific hosts. Breakfast was always fresh and delicious and Juan would give us great advice when we would tell him where we were going for the day. Parking was free and right outside the entrance. There is a refrigerator in the common area to keep our drinks and dinner leftovers cold. Loved the pool and the air conditioning onthe hot days. There is a convenience store super close and only a 15 minute walk to Plaza Grande and all the shops and great restaurants.
