A beautiful converted dairy in a small village , next to a working windmill, what’s not to like ,😀 there is a pub/restaurant and a small take a way food shop. There is also a world class equestrian site . We opted to have breakfast there wasn’t a choice but we had fresh fruit with yogurt ,bolied egg with a section of cheese and meat and assorted bread and pastries all served with a choice of tea or coffees . The B&B de oude melkfabriek were extremely accommodating as we made a short notice booking with them as the B n B we had previously booked which was on our tour route unfortunately became flooded and they had to cancel our stay . This B&B is also a short drive or a long walk to Achel Monastery where there is a shop and restaurant. Although you will find a lot of places are closed on a Monday .

The host was amazingly kind. The day of the reception she show me the full house, explain where everything was and how it worked, in the end even give me 3 raw eggs from their own chickens so I could in case I was hungry. Last but not least, I have to say that every time I needed something, the host would reply to me (either if it was at home or by phone and would help me in the way they could). The house itself is very cozy, with a terrace that has a view for a small lake. During my stay there was not once when I heard noise.

The place is like from other world. It was so soothing to come into such a nice space after a long day of driving. Room has everything that person might need to make oneself comfortable. Breakfast that Irene served us was of 5 star hotel quality. A truly relaxing experience.

The location was amazing. We didn't include breakfast in our booking but had an amazing brunch every day of our stay. Delicious food, beautifully presented. Hotel was spotless. We had a fabulous ground floor room with our own little deck/terrace.

    Large car park was handy for our work van. Room was clean and nice view of the trees outside. Great bathtub. Staff were friendly and efficient. We got a good price on a Sunday eve for the room, good value. I’d stay again.

    The hotel rooms have a large modern design with a unique bathroom design which I think works quite well Free parking Swimming pool/Gym We ate at the restaurant for dinner and the service and food was very good Other than the motorway the surrounding area is peaceful and there are nature reserves within walking distance Very good WiFi The hotel has a lot of good things going for it and it is close to Eindhoven, the reason for our stay.

    The hotel is in a great location and has a very nice setting . The entrance and outside seating area was very nice. Food was nice and pipping hot and not crazy expensive. I stay in in a lot of hotels over the year with both work and vacations and this will worth a visit to try when it is not Easter weekend
