We chose this place for our overnight stay during our trip back from the UK to CZ due its proximity to the highway. The place was just fantastic, despite the terrible heat, which was happening that day and the previous days, the room was nicely cool thanks to AirCon and it was fantastic to have almost a royal breakfast in the lovely garden next morning. Ans and Jos were fantastic hosts, we got a very warm welcome. We made a short evening walk to the downtown (accessible within just 10 min on foot) and got some refreshing there. We could admire nice old buildings and new waterfront at the same time. Venlo would definitely deserve a longer stay, so if we have a way in this direction in the future, we would definitely love to come back to this place. The bed was very comfortable, parking was easy in front of the garage. And we absolutely loved the jukebox in the bedroom - what a piece!! We appreciated the availibility of the books showing the history of Venlo, very interesting. Thanks Ans and Jos for your hospitability and for your lovely card - will be placed in our photobook when we make it.

Great accommodation in a Central location and I was lucky enough to get parked in the street. The owner Suzanne was there to offer me a very friendly welcome. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was very quiet, overall a great stay.

    A very simple room, no mirror only in the bathroom, no bedside light. Very nosy at 6.30am in the morning outside. I wont ever stay in this accommodation again.

    Our stay was very comfortable. Spacious room and clean. Cosy accomodation. The staff was friendly and efficient. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious and table service was excellent. Loved the surroundings at the chateau. Strolling around the lake was a delight with ducks, swans and different birds which was pleasing to the eye.
