The location is great- it's 2 min walk from Durbar Square with a great rooftop view and right next to different cafes and restaurants. The room was comfortable, clean and modern. He's very keen on sharing his culture, he showed me different temples around the city, told many interesting stories and shared information about Nepal and Newari culture. The host is very hospitable and willing to help with any needs. The view of Durbar Square from the terrace is beautiful. There is water available in the corridors to refill bottles, and the beds are comfortable. The place might seem a bit intimidating at first, as it's on the second floor of a bar, but the stay is worth it.
