I had an amazing stay here. I felt immediately at home. It’s such a nice place to relax, be in nature and spend time with amazing people. Hari is an AMAZING host, he is very kind and makes you feel so welcome in Chitwan. ☀️ I did the full day safari and we saw lots of animals up close, including 2 bears!! Hari knows the jungle so well so we had lunch at an amazing view point. As well as a the safari, I loved the yoga class, jungle walks and beautiful sunsets. 🌅 I extended my stay and was very sad to leave. So I would recommend this homestay to anyone interested in a relaxing jungle visit! Thank you Hari!

Charming family, made me feel at home. They took care of me as if I were a family member, served delicious homemad meals and made me long to return to this amazing place. Manoj is a great and passionate guide, did his best to show me all the beauty of Chitwan. It was very hard for me to leave his homestay, I will definitely come back again.

we liked everything about the property. it was a tranquil oasis and a much needed break from city life. the staff are absolutely incredible, so attentive and they showed us such kindness and made us feel very at home. we went on a jeep safari with some of the staff and had a fantastic time, even though we didn’t see a tiger, we still saw lots of incredible jungle wildlife and it was a dream to be that immersed in nature. food is exceptional, all very fresh and the chefs and serving staff are all really lovely.

Bishnu is the owner of the chital lodge which is a family business initially created by his grand father. With the Chital Lodge you dive into a more adventurous and unique experience of the Chitwan Park exploration. Far from the touristic area of Sauhara, Bishnu offers walk safaris and other activities. During our walk safari, we saw 3 rhinos, many birds and deers. In general, we had great moments with him and his lovely family. The food cooked by his wife is delicious and varied. If you're looking for a different and more adventurous way to explore Chitwan, while being ok with losing a bit of comfort then I would highly suggest this place! Also, it is very good value for money compared to the other hotels and resorts. Thanks again Bishnu, wishing you all the best!

Tiger Wildlife Resort was my home for two weeks. Besides the beauty of the place, perfect for those who seek quiet surroundings, what was truly remarkable is the care I received as a guest here. I felt like a VIP, a princess even, as the owners, Gambir, and the rest of the team, went out of their way to make my stay absolutely perfect. I was given what I believe is the best room on the property, with a balcony facing the park, from which every morning I would see all sorts of animals: deers, rhinos, boars and countless birds (among which peacocks and black storks and openbills) The food here is absolutely excellent, always freshly made and very tasty. The chef is so sweet, always doing his best to satisfy my (many!) requests. The safaris and tours were also lovely experiences, as the parks in the area have lots to offer. I recommend taking the time to visit Tikauli and the 20k lake. I also enjoyed walking around the rural village and talking to a few locals who seem to adore foreigners. In general, I would imagine staying here about 5 days is enough to tick all the touristy stuff of the list... unless - like me - you're not in a rush about seeing this and that, maybe you work online and enjoy taking some time away from more mundane life.. then stay as long as your heart feels and discover how wholesome it is to become a Tiger Wildlife family member ! A Perfect Nature Retreat! I had an amazing stay at River Bank Jungle Resort. Surrounded by stunning natural beauty, it’s the perfect place to unwind. The staff were friendly and attentive, always going the extra mile. The food was fresh, flavorful, and a highlight of my visit.
