the owners are very attentive, friendly, and helpful! the room was exceptional! the room is spacious and clean, the facilities are great and very complete (got amenities to cook, bathroom supplies, tea etc. that are cleaned/refilled daily). the location is ideal as it is close to convenience store, university, pharmacy, the city centre and several great restaurants. everything is great!

Our room was really spacious, comfortable and very clean. We were delighted to find that tea, coffee and some little milk cartons had been left for us. Our bed was large, cozy and we slept well. There was very little noise at all. The shower was powerful., and the body soap and shampoo were useful.

The location was super convenient for walking around the CBD and shopping, and was close to a couple of supermarkets and bus routes. The apartment itself was finished to a high standard, was thoughtfully furnished with vintage and antique pieces and had pretty much thought of everything we might need for our stay, including jam and butter in the fridge and Vogels and porridge sachets on the counter. It was a slice of luxury to come back to after a long day of walking around the city. It felt secure, it was clean and airy, and there was plenty of space to move around and relax in. The view of the First Church of Otage out of the living room windows was the cherry on top. Bonus point to one of the hosts, Dan, because he was able to arrange an early check-in for me on the day I arrived and was also able to arrange a place for my sister and I to store our bags between check-out and our pickup to go to the airport - both things took a huge amount of stress off of my plate and meant we could relax and make the most of our time in the city, so thank you again for your flexibility Dan!

    This was by far one of the best accomodations we had stayed at during our holiday in the South Island. Upon arrival, Sue opened our room and turned on our heater so it was cosy when we settled in. The room and amenities were spotless. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the kitchen had all the comforts of home.

    The place is flawless clean! I have stayed in eight different accommodations in my New Zealand trip. This is the cleanest one. The owners invested in the accommodation which is furnished with good branded appliances and utensils! Sally, the owner, is very friendly and she grew beautiful flowers around the accommodations. Highly recommended!

    We stayed here for two nights in January during our road trip around New Zealand. We stayed in 19 different accommodations in seven weeks and Amross Motel was the Best. A very spacious room, the biggest on our trip. It had all the mod cons with a huge TV and Sky was a bonus. Lovely hosts Barry and Donna. Barry is very knowledegable about Dunedin and South Island. The only problem we had was that our stay was too short. We should have stayed longer!

    This is the first time we have booked student accommodation as a place to stay on holiday. It will not be the last on this experience! We had a 3 night stay. The room, had a double bed with kitchenette, en-suite, a dinning table and desk area. In the common area we were able to play pool and table tennis. The location was good with an easy walk into the town centre. Fully recommend this place.
