Five star cottage! This is hands down the best accommodation that we have stayed in in the Wellington region. The cottage is clean and modern with thoughtful touches everywhere, not to mention the huge comfortable bed! We also really enjoyed the view of the forest and the birdfeeder from the verandah (complimentary binoculars included). No issues locating the property with Google Maps. Susan and Gavin are superb hosts!

House and the view are beatiful! The hosts are extremely helpful and welcoming. They shared a lot of tips like what to visit and where to eat in the area. We loved the place and will recommend it to our friends. The breakfast is really big (2 eggs, 2 bread toast, sausage, bacon and some potato pancake (don't know the english name for that but you get the idea) ), so be prepared for that.

    Wow what a place! Thinking of staying in Wellington…don’t skip past it off the ferry and use this place as your base just 30 mins outside the city and its night and day compared to accommodation in the city. The hosts were lovely and very helpful, there were actually birds singing (and feeding) just off the porch! The rooms and layout is very nice, one of the best places we stayed in on our month in NZ! Great recommendation for a restaurant (the Waterfront was v good).

    I booked this property for my elderly parents who had a medical appointment in Paraparaumu. They were so happy with the accomodation and said it was so much nicer than staying in a motel. In particular they: Loved the friendliness of the hosts. Easy to connect with via phone. Everything about the cottage was beautifully presented and comfortable. Enjoyed watching the tuis feed. Appreciated the extra time the hosts allowed them due to not having people before or after them - it was a mid-week stay.

    Excellent place to stay with a group of friends and family. Plenty of space, two bathrooms which is a life saver, and all you could want for a relaxing holiday. We stayed here to relax before a family wedding and it was perfect. Little perks like tea and coffee set up nicely and hosts kindly messaged the next day to ensure we had everything we needed and leave their number too for great communication. Highly reccomend.

    The location amazing grounds to sit and enjoy. A comfortable one bedroom boutique accommodation. Far exceeded anywhere else we had stayed on our NZ trip. We would have been happy to stay here more than one night. The bed was very comfortable, a full size kitchen and living room with outside sitting area looking out onto a beautiful view.
