The location is beautiful, on a bluff just outside Hokitika. All rooms have a patio facing west and we were able to watch a lovely sunset. The rooms themselves are spacious and comfortable. The restaurant food was delicious and the staff were very friendly.

Our hosts, Butch and his wife were great . They were very helpful Doing the laundry was no problem. Thanks guys Oh yeah, the breakfast was plentiful also gluten free options were available 😀 I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to family and friends

    Perfect location for the Wilderness Bike Trail. Very funky use of containers for accommodation. Grounds beautifully organised so maximum privacy using planting screens

    The place is literally by the beach. We only stayed one night, but we were considering staying longer as the place is quiet and perfect for relaxing. We stayed in one of the cabins with the outdoor bath which was, honestly, heaven.

    Ended up staying here because hokitika accommodation was all booked out and I am so glad it was!! Had such an amazing stay here. The cabin is very well designed, nice and private and got lots of sunlight. The outdoor bath tops off the experience! The staff were very friendly and amazing having the beach right there. Ross is a beautiful wee town and will definitely be back again in the future!
