An amazing and cosy place with a breathtaking view of the sea and the lighthouse. In addition you have access to a private and peaceful beach, kayaks, a swimming pool and hot tub. There is also plenty of options for local walks, beaches and restaurants. We felt very privileged and lucky to enjoy this accommodation, and appreciated our friendly host Susy.

The room was fantastic, huge bathroom, huge room. We had a balcony overlooking the marina, which was lit up at night and so relaxing. The TV had netflix on it and the tea/coffee was fully stocked. The hotel provided additional pillows at no extra cost. Staff were super friendly and helpful, and the restaurant downstairs was delicious!

Lovely helpful homestay host, great location across from the beach. The local Salt Air Cafe is perfect for breakfast and lunch. The surrounding area and little bays are stunning. Clean, stylish comfy rooms with own kitchen and bathroom. We managed to have a swim and a kayak just across the road. Wished we had the time to have stayed longer.

    Nice little accommodation and it had everything that you need for a short or even longer stay. Nice little kitchen and a proper size bathroom and bedroom. We wish we had more time to see the surroundings but we really only spent a night there. Communication with the owner was excellent and fast.

    Tutukaka Sunrise is private, spacious and very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the bed linen lovely. The bathroom facilities were great. Beautiful views from the bedroom- the accommodation had everything we needed. Petra was a warm and friendly host, she made us feel very welcome and cooked us a beautiful breakfast - the coffee was so good! We would definitely recommend a stay here. Thank you Petra

    Staying at Julianne’s and Richard’s place was just perfect. They are so kind and have great advice for activities in the area. The accomodation is well equipped and beautiful, the view above the landscape and ocean is just stunning - and you can enjoy sunsets in the hot tub. I would always come back, can definitely recommend.

    Natalie made us feel so welcome! The view was incredible and the accommodation was immaculate. Nothing was out of place. You could see all the effort in the gardens and amenities. The bush walk to the beach was worth the trip. Our stay was so good that we’ll definitely be back again!
