We loved EVERYTHING! From our initial arrival our host was exceptional - I hadn't read the entry instructions fully, and he helped us out before we even had to ask. We arrived to find complimentary bottles of water and biscuits, and a wonderful modern and well-equipped unit that took mere minutes to warm up with the heat pump. Our hosts had provided absolutely everything. The accommodation is in a very central location, close to Brewtown and the central shopping area.

The property was beautiful! I love the styling and the matching blue & aqua things. Warm and cozy room. Comfy bed. Beautiful shower and kitchenette. View from the room in the morning was lovely. Owner Bex was very helpful and kind.

    Excellent amenities. Good storage areas- shelves etc. mirror in bedroom. Comfy bed. First accommodation we’ve stayed at where a bottle of water was left for us. Very welcome. And a chocolate bar too 👍 Nice welcome card. Shame we were not here for long.

We had everything that we needed and more, we felt so comfortable with all of the amenities, the location was superb! A beautiful little retreat home away from home....     It was beautifully clean. The heat pump kept it warm. Great family size accommodation. The welcome folder made the stay really easy. The handwritten welcome card, toiletries and wide range of coffee and teas was really lovely.

    Exceptional! We actually booked this property last minute, and it was the only available accommodation at the time. However, Im so glad that we stayed here! The location, facilities, and owners were exceptional. I highly recommend this property. The railway station was just across the road for a trip into the main city of Wellington. And a stones throw away is an awesome pub called the piwakawaka that does breakfast, lunch, and dinner at really reasonable prices

    Our room was absolutely clean, fresh and amazing to stay in. We have stayed in numerous accommodations throughout the north island and Totara Lodge would have to be the most spotless, clean and tidy place that we've stayed at. Thank-you for that and thanks for the excellent service.

    Probably one of the best places I've stayed at. You can tell the owner has designed this place with so much love. It's beautiful with lots of amazing art. Very comfy bed, quiet area, safe parking for car, friendly owner, great location, breakfast provided, place was clean. Probably the first place where reality is actually better than the pictures. The sofa bed is good too. I couldn't ask for a better place to end our holiday! Will definitely go again.
