The best place to stay in the desert! what can I say we had the most amazing time here. The staff are so wonderful and went out of their way to make our stay so memorable. The food is absolutely delicious and the rooms are big with a comfy bed and the bathroom was great too. Everything is very clean. We found it quite easy to get to as once you turn off the motorway there are signs telling you that you’re on the right path. Driving off road on the sand was fun, just make sure to deflate your tires! The camp is surrounded by dunes so there are many places to watch the sunrise and sun set. The quad biking around the dunes was a highlight for us, so much fun. Also the owner took us so we could go camel riding which was so nice. We stayed two nights and had the best time.

We were very lucky to be able to enjoy the whole camp for ourselves. I would like to thank Naser for everything, he was very welcoming and spent some time with us, something we enjoyed and appreciate a lot. The tent was very tidy and clean, with everything you need for a night in the desert. Dinner and breakfast were great too. Thanks to the advice of Naser, we saw a beautiful sunset and sunrise, with all the peace and quietness of the location. It was just fantastic, I absolutely recommend it.

Among many camp, the moon light camp is higher and off the road gorgeous tents, bed, bathroom we stay 3 nights while people tend to just pass, it was great to walk around the dunes at sunrise and sunset great meal (a bit expensive in relation of other places) but variated and tasty

The camp is simply great! The few tents are nicely decorated and beds are comfortable, everything is perfectly clean. The owners are super kind and it’s easy to communicate with them. Both breakfast and dinner were amazing! big variety of local food, great coffee, all fresh with delicious aroma. In the morning the camels came closer and made our son happy. The staff was kids friendly.

Great host and memorable stay. Amer was always available, informative, with a good sense of humor! The access to the camp needs a 4*4 vehicle. He managed to schedule the pick-up and drop off on time. I recommand 100% !

    Experience of a lifetime Everything planned perfectly down to every detail. The accommodations were amazing and we really enjoyed the stargazing platform at the camp. Highly recommend the sunset camel ride and desert trek in the morning. Bedouin host was extraordinary he made our trip a memory of a lifetime.

    Being far away in the desert, the place had a special atmosphere and the accommodation was both practical and in harmony with the peacefulness of the nature. The cottage had everything we needed - including private bathroom, warm water and electiricty. The breakfast and supper prepared by the staff were delicious.

    In spite of very tough weather - frequent rainstorms and flooding, we had a memorable stay The staff, especially the manager, Mr Ali, super supportive They handled well non-trivial questions - i basically wanted to go across Wahiba Sands in my 4WD - and we spent time studying the map and navigation - then we agreed on safety protocols - so i report passage through the desert at a certain point - all worked very well - and Mr Ali was not only super informative and but also very responsible

    A fabulous night. The camp is located deep into the desert and the ride in over the dunes was part of the fun. It was very peaceful, with only 5 rooms and a perfect setting up on the dunes. We could discard our shoes for the duration of our stay, and had wonderful sunset and dawn walks up into the high dunes directly behind our room. The staff were friendly and helpful.

    We were picked up by the owner and he took us for a ride through the dessert to see a sunset. This was the highlight of the stay, together with meeting hs camels.

    Wonderful experience at Desert Wonders camp! The location in the middle of the Dunes, the simple yet authentic camp, and the kindness of the owner really made our stay memorable. I would definetly recommend to anyone looking for the true bedouin experience!

    The camp is quite big, easy to access and clean. Our bedroom was a big tent, with lots of space and a private open air bathroom. The owner Nasser was very kind and helpful. We did a jeep tour with him for 1 hour at sunset for the cost of 30 Riyal (including also transportation from the parking spot to the camp and back). The tour was quite short and we stayed close to the camp, but we still had amazing views.

    What an amazing experience. This dune camp was perfect for exploring the desert and being detached from the modern world. A great way to detox from work, stargaze and enjoy the wonders of the desert. The staff were really helpful at providing any assistance and helped with organising a surprise for my partner. We could not have asked for a better stay.
