There is a small pond with ducks just across the road. You can watch beautiful sunset from the room or the garden. There is nice forest and lake behind the building as well. Overall very nice stay with my dog. Plus, the staff speaks English and are cery friendly. They truly go above and beyond to make sure your stay is special. Though the manor is off the beaten track, there are fascinating and historic sites a short car ride away. The beds were single beds,being over 6ft thought they'd be too small. On the contrary, they were big enough and very comfy. The hotel is next door to shops,so it is convenient for snacks and drinks. The checkin was super easy, we could do it ourselves at any tome which was perfect. The room was fresh and clean and definitely above the standard of a 3* hotel. Whoever we communicated with through Booking was nice and accommodating and super responsive. The host made us a presentation on the art and history of the place. It ws well down to come a bit away from the main road. The host is very nice and the people there really take care of you.
