The property and site were just phenomenal - the villas had real authentic and rustic Portugese charm, and you can see how much thought has gone into decorating each of them individually with such lovely and unique details. The view from the rooftop of our villa was stunning, and it was well-equipped with everything that we needed for our stay. The double bed was highly comfortable, too, and there was plenty of space for storage for us while we were there. Pilar could not have done more for us at all, even down to stocking our fridge so our toddler could eat when we arrived after a late flight. She is a truly exceptional host! The villa complex is a great distance from the local town and beach, and we were happy to stay local and walk everywhere as we wanted a relaxing family holiday to recharge our batteries. If you wanted to go further afield, renting a car or bicycles would be more beneficial, but Pilar even had recommendations for those, too! The plunge pool has incredible views of the sea, and is in really good condition with some chairs, loungers and cushions around it too. There was also a barbecue, launderette and airers available free of charge so that we could do emergency washing and drying (so, so helpful with a toddler in tow!). Thank you so much, again, for such an incredible stay. We will most definitely be back!!

The apartment was recently renewed with a cosy, clean and fresh style and elegant details. Very well equipped and if something was missing or minor issues, our host Christopher was always ready to solve the problem. The location is just 10min away from the beach, so it is a easily walkable distance. The builing has elevator so its fine for every ages. Would definitelly recommend to everyone!

We arrived at our new holiday home and were delighted by the space available and the outside areas. Having two meant everyone could have their own space whether in the shade or in the sun. With both doors open there was a lovely breeze. The location was great and meant we could walk everywhere.

    Vila Ramalhete exceeded my expectations in every way. The three well-appointed bedrooms with quality mattresses were amazing. The modern kitchen, complete with all necessary appliances, made preparing meals a joy. Dining al fresco on the balcony with a barbecue grill added a delightful touch to my stay. If you're looking for modern comfort and thoughtful design, Vila Ramalhete is the ideal destination.

    Easy access to beach and cafes. Plenty parking. As we had a room facing onto the pool, it was lovely to be able to walk straight out and lie on the sunbeds. Receptionist was wonderful and nothing was too much trouble which made our stay a lot better. Room cleaned daily.

    This was an exceptional stay. From start to finish, Pilar made us most welcome. She was an extraordinary host, the house was incredible and it’s a perfect base to explore this side of the Algarve. I would highly recommend and for sure I will undoubtedly return. It was just brilliant in every way possible.

    Our stay at this lovely hotel was beyond excellent, from arrival lady on reception was first class , we did get upgraded to a suite was very nice , all people working at hotel were polite with a smile . Could have no complaints about breakfast, would certainly book again if in this area ,

    Great accommodation was very spacious and everything was there for your stay. Great for family's as had everything you needed for little ones. Accommodation was very clean and tidy and the host was very helpful. The pool was great to cool off in and a nice outside area for eating and relaxing. Loved the area was in a perfect location easy to walk to the beach and shops. Altura is a great place for family's and has beautiful beaches.
