I will miss my morning smoothie with a shot of ginger and turmeric. Our evening meal here was also wonderful, and there is a reasonable selection of wines by the glass. The small spa was a lovely surprise, and our room was comfortable, cosy and warm. The hotel’s location was ideal as you find various supermarkets and restaurants very close to the facility. The hotel has a large parking, good for large cars: it comes handy when one wants to go to mountains. We were really happy that we stayed at Norrgården instead of at a hotel in Högbo Bruk. It is also not as busy and crowded like the bruk hotel. We stayed in both hotels for one night each because of xc skiing and I would now choose Hotell Skommarsgården every time over the bruk hotel. The only thing missing is a sauna but you can also use the one at the bruk hotel for 40 SEK.
