Here are my main highlights of my 6 night stay at the Hotel Garni Dock in Bratislava. When booking a hotel, the most important aspects I consider are cleanliness and the location. That being said, read below: - The hotel is at a perfect location and I feel like it should be commented on a bit more. The hotel is right next to the brand new Bratislava bus terminal, so if you come in from Vienna airport by bus (or anywhere else) you just have to cross the street once out. The new station is actually underground and above it sits a brand new 3 storey mall with a rooftop garden and great views over the city. It is a 10-15 minute scenic walk to the historic centre with great bus connections. The danube and the Euronova mall and leisure broadwalk are even closer. - The hotel is very very clean, the room was spotless and very spacious. My room was located under the roof with automatic blonds and windows. Despite a week long heatwave, the room was cool and fresh. - The wifi is great. I was there for work and needed it a lot for zoom meetings etc. - Breakfast; Family owner hotel actually with lovely staff, both the manager Dušan and his coworker at the breakfast. The hotel is human sized and it was lovely to have hotel outside. - I am vegetarian and the breakfast featured many options despite some of the reviews claiming it was very limited. They had vegan tofu spreads, all kinds of jams. They actually make the bread themselves and they have typical slovak bakery goods as well as hot and cold breakfast options. Absolutely nothing to complain about, and I was there a week! - The staff is very friendly and reasonable when it comes to special requests, provided it is within their power to do so. I had requested for my partner to join two of the nights, I let them know in advance and it was no issue at all and we were welcomed warmly by the hotel manager.

It's the perfect resting place. We spent 5 nights and 6 days here in the apartment. This apartment was perfect. The reason we don't use Airbnb or an apartment often is that there were facilities like a kitchen or a washing machine, but there were many cases where they couldn't be used even if they didn't exist. However, this apartment was easy to find and access was relatively good. In particular, the facilities in the washing machine and kitchen were perfect, so we could use them a lot. And with the recent facilities, it was clean and secure, so I was relieved. The location was also close to the old city center, so I always walked around. If you had an apartment like this, you would prefer it to a hotel. Thank you to the host for responding quickly to our questions or requests.

    Excellent location in the heart of the old town. Beautifully decorated, large and comfortable. The air conditioning worked very well compared to other accommodations on our trip. The bathroom had a tub and was huge by European standards! This place felt truly luxurious for a very reasonable price. We were only in Bratislava for one night, but wished we could have stayed here much longer!

    The aparment was beautiful, big, clean and has everything you need for your stay. Also, it is close to the center of the city but the neighbourhood is also very calm. The big terrace on the top is perfect and the communication with the host Miroslav was very easy and pleasant. We will definitely choose this accomodation in the future :)

    The location is great, on the Danube, along the Eurovelo road and near the city center. The panoramic view on the city is also amazing. Staying on a botel on the Danube Delta was an amazing experience. I really enjoyed it. Despite my late arrival on a bank holiday in Slovakia (I didn't know it when I booked), I was warmly welcome on my arrival time. The accomodation was very confortable and clean. The staff was great and friendly. The incredible sunsets nearby.

    This accommodation is very central. Walking distance to everywhere in the old town Bratislava. For all of the reasons I explained in complaints part, we will not stay in this place again, but it was clean and room is very big, so for someone who doesn't mind sleeping in sunny room and bring their own tea and coffee, this is very central and clean accomodation.
